A man was given 20 days of community service after pleading guilty to charges of selling changaa

In the prosecution, Joseph was ambushed by policemen on the 14th of June at around 10:00 am. The police were tipped by citizens that he was selling chang`aa illegally and the changaa was stored in a container against the alcohol storage act.
He was then arrested and taken to Makupa Police Station with together with the sophisticated Chan`gaa.
In his mitigation he asked for forgiveness saying that he has four children and his wife is sick in bed.

A man was remanded awaiting verdict which is to be given on 19th of this month following a report from the probation officer. After pleading guilty to charges of stealing 20 kilograms of nails worth Sh5,500.
Jerald Ndele Awuor was arraigned before the Chief Magistrate Stephen Riech.
In the prosecutor, Jerald is claimed that on the 13th of June the security of Deen were at work when they noticed two people at the construction site in Mombasa Railway Headquarters. When they approached them one of them escaped leaving the accused.
After searching the accused they recovered the 20kg of nails and it was suspected he had stolen the nails from the construction site. The property owner Mr. Al- Abubakar was called and he arrived minutes later and took the accused to the central police station
In his mitigation the accused asked for forgiveness from the chief magistrate saying that he did that in order to foot the bill of her daughter who is admitted in a private hospital.

A woman 16 years of age is awaiting verdict on the 16 of this month after a report is given by the probation officer after pleading guilty to charges of throwing a foetus in a dumping site in Magongo Area Mombasa County.
The woman was before the chief magistrate Stephen Riech.
In her prosecution Ndanu kanini was suspected to have been seen on the 11th and 12th being pregnant and was due to delivery. She was confronted by angry neighbors the evening of 13th of June and admitted committing the crime. Village elder of Magongo (sisikwasisi) Mr Hassan Mohammed was highlighted and came to the scene of the incidence. He reported the matter to the officer commanding station (O.C.S) of Makupa police station who rushed to the scene and the foetus was taken to coast general mortuary.
Ndanu was taken to Portreiz hospital and the doctor confirmed that she had recently given birth after running a check up on her.
In her mitigation Ndanu claims to be a school student and the one responsible ran away. She is still young and schools at the Magongo College.
