The hazard was caused due to overflow of the sewage chamber. “It was only an accident that happened yesterday when the kitchen was busy and the sewage overflowed, it will not happen again.” said the assistant manager Mr Luke Maina. The notice was issued by the Municipal Inspector Mr Rashid Muteti. “We have advised the hotel management to have cylindrical straps to absorb fats coming from the kitchen and block the hole that causes overflow of the sewage to the neighborhood. Failure to which they will face the law” Mr Rashid said. Mr Luke Maina told the nation that they will act as per the notice because it is the law. Mr Rashid also gave a stern warning to all hotel owners and residential houses owners to observe environmental cleanliness. picture include a worker doing some work at the sewage but he was not observing cleanliness too because he never had gloves while handling rubbish, the other picture is the Municipal inspector Mr Rashid Muteti inspecting the area, and last is the notice given to the Mombasa club.
